Initial Consultation
This session will help you make informed decisions and set a clear foundation for your home design journey.
If you’re not sure where to start, an Initial Consultation is a great way to explore your ideas, talk through your site and project needs, and map out the best next steps.
Before we meet, you’ll receive an Initial Design Brief to complete - a simple but powerful way to clarify your values and what you truly need in your home.
We’ll then meet for a 90‑minute consultation (online or in‑person within 15 km of Denmark, WA; in‑person consultations beyond this range can be arranged for an additional travel fee).
You’ll leave with:
Greater clarity about your project direction
Practical recommendations tailored to your site and needs
The confidence to move forward whether with WEAVE, on your own, or with another professional

Home Concept Review
This review can help you avoid costly design mistakes, improve comfort and efficiency and move forward with clarity.
For people who already have a floor plan and want clarity, confidence and expert guidance before moving forward.
If you have a plan but something isn’t quite working - flow, storage, energy performance, or a general “I’m not sure about this” feeling - a Home Concept Review can help you refine the design with clarity and balance.
You’ll start by completing an Initial Design Brief. This helps you get clear on your priorities, values, and how you want your home to support daily life. You’ll then send through your existing plans and any key site or project information.
We’ll meet for a short online consultation to talk through what matters most. From there, I’ll review your plans and provide clear, practical recommendations grounded in climate, flow and wellbeing.

Annotated floor plan and section (plus elevations if needed) showing recommended changes
Designing & Constructing a Healthy Home guide
Desigining & Constructing an Energy Efficient Home guide
Written summary outlining your next steps

Home Concept Design

We’ll work together to develop a site‑responsive layout, building form, and key design details that feel right for you and your land. This concept stage is about exploring possibilities, making informed decisions, and creating a clear direction for your project before committing to detailed drawings.
Before we begin, you’ll receive an Initial Design Brief to complete - a simple but powerful way to clarify your values and what you truly need in your home.
The process includes:
A 90‑minute initial consultation to explore your ideas, site, and project needs
Development of your concept design based on our discussions and your brief
A 90‑minute concept meeting to review the design in detail
Revised concept drawings reflecting the agreed changes
You’ll receive:
Site‑responsive floor plan, elevations, and sections showing the concept design
3D views to help you visualise the form and flow
A written summary of key design decisions and recommendations
Guidance for next steps, including engaging other consultants if needed
Your concept design can be used to seek early feedback from builders, energy assessors, or other consultants. Please note: planning approval and building permit drawings will still be required before construction.
